RSP1A and SDR Consoler problems remotely

#1

Unread post by SQ8J »

Gentlemen,
I'm trying to run RSP1A as a remote receiver that I want to operate using SDR Console, I used this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDbOFftyEww&t=949s) but unfortunately my RSP1A is not detected by Virtual Here Client ... do you have any idea what the problem could be? I'm doing everything as described step by step but I don't want to work ... or maybe someone knows some other way how to connect RSP1A with SDR Console as a remote receiver ..... ??? thank you for all the suggestions ...

SDRC installation includes SDRC Server application. You set up a computer (host computer) with the SDRplay attached to run the server service. The client can be on the same LAN or outside via the WAN. Port forwarding has to be enabled in your router that the host computer is attached. No TeamViewer or Windows Remote necessary! Since my Public IP changes monthly, I use a free DNS service to resolve my ‘new’ IP address
You can make your server private, only those who have the username/password can use, or public where the username and password are automatically exchanged during initial connection. Mine are all open to public and thanks to efforts to keep QRM down, they are very popular to web users.
See my tutorial here:

Once the server is setup, then you set up the client computer to access your server ( or others on the web).
Here’s my tutorial on setting up SDRC to with servers:
