Playing V2 Recordings in V3

#1

Unread post by AJ1L »

Up until the April build of SDR Console I've always been able to play recordings made in V2. Was it intentional to remove the ability to playback these files in the latest public build released in April? Luckily I still had the install file from the version from last August, so was able to go back to that. I have old FM DX recordings from 2018 that were made with V2, and I continue to review them when I have the time. Just curious if I need to make sure that I save last year's release, or if the ability to play those files can be restored.

Hi,

I don't see why you can't play V2 recordings. Please upload a V2 recording to the cloud for me.

Thank you for taking a look. Here's a V2 recording that works fine in the August 2021 build but not April 2022.

Now looking at this, will keep you updated.

ETA: Now working, had used a slightly different XML schema for server recordings. Will make a kit today and post the link so you can have a play. BTW - nice recording, some summer Es?

Works great, Thanks Simon! Yes this was a pretty good ES opening to Florida from my QTH in Massachusetts
