I was thinking something like this, which appears to be what I would like. From what you say ADD doesn't do this, so how is it used.
Perhaps, if you don't want endless questions, you could point me to instructions.

I dont have any TX gear available to me at the moment.

That HRS article is pretty much how you need to do it. multiple instances of your software of choice.

I have used the Rx666 and 888 as quite a few here have.
I've not used them fully but SDR -Console will run many receivers (Separate slices off the same SDR) with them.
There is now the Mk 2 RX888 which looks more attractive - and so it goes on...
Search this group and the io group for reviews.

Hi J and A,
All very interesting!
A, a cheap Baofeng may work for a chat, with perhaps a better aerial.
Thanks, C.

Before getting too excited make sure that the 30 MHz or 60 MHz is available at the frequencies of interest to you. That's just me being my paranoid self; but, this is a 666 issue as it uses a narrow band (R820T2) tuner as I understand it.

Hi J,
Thanks. Thinking about it, I would be interested in frequencies out of it's coverage also.

Hi,
I'm still puzzled about ADD windows. If I get two wondows showing, I can tune to two different frequencies, but are they both withing the 2mHz on the dongle?
If I add a second dongle, does this make any difference to what appears in those windows.

It is impossible to receive two signals simultaneously that are not within the range available by the sample rate selected.

Joanne, there is talk of the 60MHz being available without input filtering. Without referring to the developer's group I'm not sure if that is available on V2 or will be on V3..

Hi A,
I see! It was a bit too good to believe, but I did :)
