Hi, I posted this via groups.io but I gather it is better to post it here instead ...
I have a funcube Pro+ running on a remote SDR-Console server on my local network under Win7 Pro x86 and am running SDR-Console on another machine under the same OS but x64. The network connection is 100Mb/s
The local console machine has 8GB of memory and is barely loaded (8% typically when SDR is running).
What I find is that if I change "mode" to USB, LSB, CW or AM quite often the console display freezes. When it does this the audio continues and the CPU and network usage remain much the same, but the memory "commit change" begins to rise and eventually hits ~100% and the machine complains that it is low on memory!
If I choose NFM or Wide-U the display resumes and the "commit change" returns to normal
Is this a known problem - or am I doing something wrong ??
BTW I did have problems installing console under Win 7 x64 --- it just would not start. After a great deal of fiddling it eventually started and has been OK starting since ... apart from this problem.
Using SDR-Console 3.1 build 2320 on both systems.
