I am using the latest version of Console with an Airspy HF Discovery, bandwidth set at 912kHz. I would like to make IQ recordings of the entire MW band from 530kHz to 1710kHz. I tried using the MW settings in Favourites but the resulting recordings only covers 670 to 1560kHz. is there a way to set the IQ recording up so the entire MW band is recorded? I have been able to do that with a RSPDx and SDRUno so I assume I should be able to do the same with Console and the Airspy.

IQ recording of entire MW band
Re: IQ recording of entire MW band
Lin,
"Airspy HF Discovery, bandwidth set at 912kHz." says it all.
The Discovery is a low cost high performance SDR - the trade-off is bandwidth.
It is impossible to record more than the sample rate, in fact it is best to use somewhat less than the maximum.

Alan,
That is really too bad. The Airspy/YouLoop combination is ideal for travel. Guess it's back to the RSPDx when I'm home. Though that receiver is portable too, I find it needs a better antenna than the YouLoop, probably because it doesn't have the internal pre-amp the Airspy has. Maybe one of the companies will come up with a receiver than combines the best features of both someday.
