V3 Server bandwidth

Anybody have any idea why I can only get 300khz bandwidth while connecting to an RT820 via SDR Server V3?

At first blush it appears the server can run up to 1 MHz with a set of fixed values. The RTLSDR dongles can work between two frequency ranges, 250 ksps to 300 ksps and 900001 sps and (in practical terms) 2.4 Msps. (Yeah, people claim it can work faster. With a half dozen dongles of various manufacture not a one of them works PROPERLY above 2.4 Msps.) The usual selections include (in ksps) 250, 300, 900.001, 1024, and above. These do not match server settings. So I suspect there is a forgetful programmer who does not realize ANY sample rate from 900001 Hz to 2400000 Hz can be programmed and hit with reasonable precision. (7 Hz or so granularity if I recall correctly.)

Ideally the server would set the dongle to 2.4 Msps and decimate down to 600 kHz, set to 2.0 Msps and decimate by 2 to 1 MHz, or other tricks from a very large number of frequency and decimation options.

For 3.0.25 you will have 500 and 750 kHz as well.
