Using 3.0.25 64bit on Windows 10 on Dell Vostro 470 with RSP1A and getting random crashes. Task manager reports SDR Console not responding and memory use slowly increasing. RSP1A is plugged directly into front panel USB3. Unable to reproduce at will, just happens randomly.
What to look for to diagnose issue?
Thanks

Re: 3.0.25 Random Crashes
What do you mean by crash? Does it stop and display a 'Please Wait' message? Smells like a USB issue, disconnect all other USB devices try another USB port.
Other advice: https://www.sdr-radio.com/usb
If you do get a crash dump then I would like to see it.
Any chance of a screenshot?

Waterfall stops but received audio continues. Task manager reports "not responding" and memory usage increases steadily. Eventually screen greys out. See screen shot.

Then it's not USB related, it's a graphics problem.
Tell me about your computer: https://www.sdr-radio.com/computer#ComputerDescription attach the output please.

As requested, see attached file - too large to paste. I also include the list of sound "cards" in case it is relevant.
Thanks

Bandwidth 1 MHz, typical cpu load 8%, in a fully operational state of course.

Simon
Are you sure it can't be USB related? I have just fitted a powered USB 3 hub and so far it has not crashed.

Re: 3.0.25 Random Crashes
I'm not at all sure. I've run on some very weak systems and it's been OK, others have as well. Anyway if you get this problem again I'll think what can be done.
Re: 3.0.25 Random Crashes
Hi Simon
It has started happening again. The latest was different, the screen froze and the memory usage climbed up to about 5gb and then went down again to about 2gb. Task manager reported "not responding" but then went normal again. I have been able to get a dump file but it is 13gb. The memory usage then dropped to 2gb and I took another dump, this file is 10gb. The application was then still running and responding to mouse clicks, changing frequency etc but the waterfall and DSP panels are frozen. A minidump of the second dump file summary:
Memory usage has now dropped to 196Mb and the program is still running.
Any ideas?
Thanks
