Mute PC/SDR

#1

Unread post by N5ANY »

I Have the mute function set for strong signals, however I do not believe it is working correctly or there is an operator error. I have the RSP1A and a Yaesu FT1000MP with the pandadpter board installed. When I transmit I get the huge signal and lots of feedback from the speakers. Is there a way to kill the receiver or mute it when I transmit.
Thank You

Hi,

Screenshots always help. Wideband DSP is the easy way to do this:

Ribbon Bar, Home, Wideband DSP, Auto-mute.

That helped a little I still get a lot of feed back and through the PC.

When you get feedback has the waterfall stopped displaying data? If so this is audio getting into the cabling. Please post a screenshot so I can be sure you have the Mute working.
