Hello,
Using Markers; a really nifty item.
A simple question, please, but have been going around in circles a bit in trying to figure out how.
a. How can I tell from the Markers pull-down Menu, exactly which database is being used ?
b. And, e.g., if I want the Markers to come from ILG, exactly how do I do this, please.
Might as well also ask now: Using 3.0.25 which I assume is the latest.
When is the next released scheduled for ?
Thanks,
Bob
Markers Question, Please
Re: Markers Question, Please
HI, regarding..
a. see the 4 choises in attached picture:
- DX Cluster: this is a connection to a external database
- Markers: this is a database on your computer that get's bigger the more Fixed Markers you Add.
- Favourites: markers from your own SDR Console Favourites database entries.
- Memories: markers from your own SDRC Memories database entries.
b. There is no way to add markers from your Frequency Database directly but if you have imported a Custom CSV file in your Freq. Database, f.e. Dan Ferguson's Frequency file, then you can use that same csv file and Import it in your Marker database. (Marker Config - then button with 3 dots)
Be aware though that broadcasting frequencies change very frequently, my advise is therefore to keep these only updated in the Freq. Database, not in the Marker database. Dan's list can be found here: https://groups.io/g/swskeds/files
regards, Leon
