I think this is a setting in your NVidea software:

Re: IQ-recording window starts slowly at high load
Hi Simon.
The amount of delay seem to be related to the amount of RAM used (or rather the amount of RAM available).
If the used amount of RAM is ~50% the delay is ~20 sec if RAM used is ~85% it goes up to 10 min.
It seems to be SDRC that eats RAM, so I reduced all buffers to a minimum. No signs of that the amount of RAM used increases with time while running SDRC.
Going from 8 or 10 active receivers to 6 active receivers did not do much change. CPU ~15% and GPU ~8% with both. Still plenty of headroom wrt GPU resources it seems. Would of cause like to trade more GPU load against less CPU load

Kit tomorrow morning.Simon G4ELI wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 8:10 am Ingolf,
Again - you are really at the very maximum performance for your computer. If I get Direct2D multithreading working it will reduce the load on the main thread.
Long term you may have to consider a new computer.
