problem opening IQ file

Goodmorning everyone
I have a stupid problem:
Last night I made a IQ recording, but when I try to open it the file is opened by the program which normally opens .wav files. i have changed it to sdrconsole but no result.
anyone a idea ?

You need to open it from within Console.
From the menu.. Rec/Playback >> Data :: Playback >> Open

Sorry I was not clear with the description from the problem:
That is what I do . I open it from within the program . And it opens the app associated with a wav file and not within SDRConsole.

OK.. can you get yourself to the point with the dialog window that you are about to open a file... but immediately before actually opening the file, use the screen capture tool to take a pic of the entire Console window, and post on here? Need to see whats going on here.
