It's all about the Software

I have an AOR 5000 and a Icom R8500 that I want to use with Console. I'll use one or the other. From I can tell I might need a radio specfic dll file to operate the radio with Console or OmniRig. Is that correct? If not please let me know what I need to do.

Icom R8500 is available in Omni-Rig and should work as external radio in SDRC. (use a RS232 <-> USB cable)
I did'nt test it with my R8500 but it works fine with my R75
AOR5000 is also available in Omni-Rig.
So no need for a seperate dll.
