I just finished a permanent Inmarsat antenna made with an outer net patch antenna and a NooElec LNA which is connected to an Airspy (first edition) with a Bias-T feed. This contraption is partially mounted between some bushes so its quiet a stealthy installation. Reception is nice for such a simple construction with a 20 to 26 dB SNR on average depending on the clouds.
The Tecmanoid STD-C decoder is used to unravel the messages. This also detects alerts and plots them on a Google Earth map wich is showed into the software UI.
Here is a screenshot of both SDRconsole V3 and the STD-C decoder working together via a VAC audio port.
