Hi Simon...
Tried out the latest (1.2) version last night... and noticed an odd effect with the shadow/light areas. Kinda a wrapping thing? Looks like I can't share a pic if I don't have it in a URL based location, or I'd share the screenshots I made.
At the 12 noon area, the grayline border narrowly points down from the north pole, towards the center of the screen, and the corresponding 12 midnight border has a light "day" slice heading from the south pole to the lower latitudes. Hope that describes it well...

Hello Jonathan
Re: showing a picture:
Push "Full Editor and Preview" button at bottom of message in the Forum web interface. You will then see scrolling down to bottom of screen the option to add pictures as attachments.
Please always attach a good quality, uncropped picture (as taken by SDRC Screenshot tool). Don't try and shrink it down then insert it as a picture into the body of the message as they are often unviewable.
Hope it helps.

Sorry, got busy...
Looking at the latest 1.2 ver (that seems to still report itself as 1.1) it looks like you got it, uh, on the night side. It's still has a bit of artifact on the day side. Check the pic. Maybe only happens at certain, lower latitudes?

Re: v1.2 shadow issue?
The current 1.2 kit identifies itself as 1.2 and has this bug fixed.
Re: v1.2 shadow issue?
Aaaaaand...... yes, it's fixed!! Thanks Simon!
Not sure what happened on my earlier try, was pretty sure I pulled the download out of a "1.2" marked link to Dropbox. Downloaded it again a few days ago, and now it both no longer has the problem, and says "1.2" at the top of the screen.
I'm pretty good at mixing things up though... might have been me, earlier.

Re: v1.2 shadow issue?
How is it possible to zoom in and out without a mouse wheel? I don't use a mouse. Searched but see no zoom controls anywhere on any tab/menu?

Re: v1.2 shadow issue?
Sorry,
A mouse is the option, maybe MIDI support could be added later.

Re: v1.2 shadow issue?
i also have no mouse wheel (laptop with touchpad)
but my laptop has a "zoom up/down" area at the very right border (works superb) on the touch panel
so slide the map rougly to the area where i want to look at ... then set finger at right border of the touch panel and slide inside the map (zoom in)
try it ... it works fine here (maybe you have to configure your touch panel in windows settings)
