full screen size?

Is there a way to get the map to fill the screen when maximized? Mine always has a black space to the right of the map.

I maintain a 2 : 1 aspect ratio (equirectangular projection). When I have time I'll center the map / display it better.

You would have a distorted map if you stretched it to fill in the bottom. It's simple geometry of the map. The Earth in Mercator projection is not 16 by 9.

Hey Simon, for that nice new widescreen QHD monitor you just got, maybe you can add a feature to center the fullscreen layout so there isn't a blank black space on the right side of the screen? Would look a lot nicer being centered or maybe even stretched to fill (even if it isn't the original perfect aspect ratio)? Just a little more polish for such a nice Geochron-like alternative you have here.
