Hi,
Oops:
I wrote about this previously, but posted it in the general forum, rather than here in
the Requests forum. Sorry.
Re the WinRadio G-31 Excalibur:
I understand that the unit has a hardware pre-amp built in.
The very old WinRadio software provided for Manual Gain adjustments if the AGC was turned Off.
I imagine, but am not sure, that this "Gain" was implemented in their software, and that it was useful to have.
Does it make any sense, or is it practical, to consider something like this for a
Console rev. when used with the G-31 ?
Or, as the S/N would(?) likely stay the same, there is nothing really to be gained by having ?
Again, thanks for supporting the G-31.
Much appreciated.
Regards,
Bob
