Would it be possible to have easy or quick access to tuning steps?
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words so,
Easy access to tuning steps.
Easy access to tuning steps.

Re: Easy access to tuning steps.
Martin,
That's a great shout - only bit I'd add is the "..." button to edit your step buttons.
I don't know how quick/easy it would be to implement, but it would be handy to have at times.

I agree Martin and I (and others) have requested this before. My temporary workaround is I have keyboard shortcut set up to recall the "Options". I have it set up to be called by "Ctrl + O" (letter O).
If the last window within options was the "Step" window, then this is what comes up next time it is opened, so Ctrl+O becomes the "Steps" shortcut. Works OK for me to get by until the feature is (hopefully) added.

Re: Easy access to tuning steps.
By the way, the menu that comes up when selecting "Options" is remembered even if SDRC is closed and opened again multiple times.
Also what might be nice is if the step size is one of the things (optionally) memorised with a saved Favourite?

Re: Easy access to tuning steps.
Easy to add. I'm not in a mode for brain-draining coding so will add this now.
Re: Easy access to tuning steps.
As a MW DXer, i would appreciate 9kHz and 10kHz being two of the choices. Switching between US and EU channel spacing would be a delight and hopefully well-received by our US cousins.
Thank you Simon

Also, it would be nice to have the tuning step automatically switch depending on the selected receiver's frequency.

Re: Easy access to tuning steps.
I agree.
In my mock up you may not have noticed but I was in NFM mode so the steps reflect that.
What I am hoping for is the steps change to reflect the mode, maybe? Or maybe not.
