Started SDRC with receiver name/model "A", not realising it was "B" connected. Eerie lack of activity, maybe antenna loose??? Clicked "Start", restarted program, blah.
When the penny finally dropped I realised that failure to start shows up as lack of the full window title bar info, plus disabled Stop button. No error message.
Simon, how far are you prepared to support bears of little brain? Or time for me to retire from the game?

I think he wants to get kicked in the (censored) if the receiver doesn't start so that he notices it.

Re: Receiver Not Found, or Error Starting
Not to make a big deal of this... Oh, all right then.
Start SDRC. Select Identity (Main) , Select Radio (FDM-S2), Start.
Interface loads perfectly, but "nothing much happening".
Uh? Antenna unplugged?
Until you notice Home > Select Radio and Start are still enabled.
Uh? S2 powered off? USB cable loose? Hub off?
::
Oh bugger, it's my RSP1A connected, not S2.
Reselect radio, ah back in business.
Contrast this "silent treatment" with Select Radio, Definitions, Search, Elad FDM-S1/S2 -> ""Nothing found, sorry!"
Just asking.
