Hello,
i suggest to make the polarity of the PTT input switchable.
So you can use a simple Pull-Up Resistor between RTS and CTS/DSR and you need only a external Key with 2 wires.
Tried it with an Resistor but get "reverse" Logic. (Must press my PTT to receive)

If you are using a USB <-> Serial cable with a Profilic chip than there's a option that maybe work's...
See this picture, the settings beneath the Com Port Number setting are proberbly not visable when you use a serial ports on your motherboard.
With my Profilic cable it shows these extra options. Hope to hear if this was helpfull.
