Playback: Start/Stop times: Help needed

#1

Unread post by DK8OK »

Hi - I am using the playback function very often, and it works fine.
Within this module, one will find a great window: "Navigator".
It also works fine with nearly all function (e.g. forward/backward, clicking into the grid etc.).
But I cannot access the following functions:
* Start/Stop time
* Center
With the latter not that important, the first, defining Start/Stop time, is.
The idea is to set it e.g. plusminus 30s at full hour, Auto-repeat the playback, and tuning from one channel to another to collect the identifcations.
I tried all possibilites from Start+ some secods to defining a definite stop time "Finish". Yes, also clicked the "Apply" button. But I simply cannot activate this function.
Anyone any idea of what I am doing wrong?
Thanks and 73: Nils, DK8OK

Hi Nils,

Do you see this in the Navigator window:

What do you mean by "center"?

Just to add. if you have the window as displayed above, and you've entered start and stop times, click Apply, click the Stop button (if you've simply paused, you'll need to do this) then Play, and it should work.

... thanks, Jim, after a re-boot of the PC it worked. Also the Loop. Center also works, the fourth icon from the right in the Playback window.
Didn't know why I had (or: made?) this problem ...
