Reducing the bandwidth of ethernet?

Hello.
I try to run my Pluto over a VPN, but this VPN is a bit slow, so there is no continious sound out of the Console. Is it possible to reduce the bandwidth/samplingrate or what else, to get a smaller datasize?

I hope for any help.

I mean my network is overloaded. Does minimizing the window really help?

Reduce the selected Pluto to the lowest possible sample rate that it supports. If that does not work there's likely nothing more that can be done.
