How to unlock SDR Console v3.2 for Windows 7, locked by default

SDR Console v3.2 for Windows 7 is locked by default

How to unlock it ?

Hovering over Program lock icon I get lock locked
When I click Program lock, new window opens with a message: Program locked
and Open lock icon to click
to unlock the Program
but when I click it,
Program lock icon remains locked and no way to verify if unlock worked for me.

How to check if Program is already unlocked if I don't get signal from RTL usb dongle (DVB-T) since remote control is missing ?

thank you

Program is locked? By whom? Is it an overly officious anti-virus you are running?
Home or Pro?

That's fine. But, the SDR-Radio (V3) software does not come with any sort of lock. Did you download it from www.SDR-Radio.com? If not treat it as radioactive and get it off your machine.

For attaching an image select "Full Editor & Preview". Then on the full editor down below the "Save draft", "Preview", and "Submit" buttons select the "Attachments" tab. The follow your nose.

Are you running Win 7 Pro or Win 7 Home. That might make a difference. Although SDRC is signed so it should not be locked in any way.

The icon on the Home tab does not indicate the lock status. Basically when you press "Lock" and then you see the other floating box "Program is Locked", that is the only "Lock" indication. The box stays on top of Console window until you unlock it.

If you do not see the floating "Program is Locked" panel, then the program is unlocked. It's just that the main Icon does not change to show "Lock" status. It does not actually need to, though I see how this could possibly cause confusion.

Thanks, Max. I'd misunderstood that this was not on first install and fixed on it being locked out of the box.

Yes Joanne. Must admit I had to read couple of times before I understood the issue. Hope I did understand it!
