Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) problem, help needed.

I like many others I guess, use Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) by Eugene (Evgenii) Muzychenko for piping audio to and from SDR Console and other pieces of software.
Well just recently it has stopped piping the audio. This may have happened when the PC updated to the latest build of Windows 10 version 20H2, build 19042.870 .
The latest version of VAC is 4.65. I have to uninstall this and go back to version 4.15 before I find a version that still works.
Anyone else experienced this? Have you found a solution?
