Data Analyser - consecutive projects

#1

Unread post by pnoelw »

Data Analyser works perfectly on the 1st analysis of each session. But moving on to a new project results in an image which appears “noisy” and overlaid with hash. In order to get a clear image it’s necessary to close the Analyser window and re-open it from the main SDRC window.

The sequence of attached screenshots show 3 successive analyses (in order 1 to 3) without closing the window in between. I just used the tuning button to step up 9kHz from 846 and in the 3rd to step back to 846kHz. Note the difference between 1 and 3 which are both 846kHz.

No settings were changed between runs. Attachment 4 shows the settings in use.

The attachments have loaded 4 to 1 instead of the intended 1 to 4!!

I hate to see these unanswered posts...

I can't solve this, but I can at least verify that I've noticed the same problem, using Data Analyser associated with Console v 3.0.27

Often the overlay of noise is so strong that it's nearly impossible to see any carrier signals through it.

best wishes,

Nick

Thanks Nick! ;)
I'm sure it will be on the todo list.
