In 3.0.27 and also now in 3.0.28 (your latest build) the waterfall displays either a marker or "signal" on thye frequency slected.
If I retrieve the frequency from my favourites list no additional items are displyed in the waterfall and squeeze and stretch using zoom until content. That is until I click in the waterfall and this phantom appears.
Using the wonderful Perseus receiver I concentrate on weak signals and these phantoms "get in the way", or should I say photobomb my viewing.
This image shows a phantom on the IARU beacon frequency after retrieving it from favourites (no marker) then suddenly after clicking in the waterfall the marker appears.
Likewise RS-15 pass

A postscript.
These phantoms seem to be generated by SDR-Console itself and readily produced and visible on the Perseus, SDRPlay RSP2Pro, and ELAD FDM-Duo.
They appears whether I have frequency reference locking on or switched offf
There are two workarounds, 1) tune 10Hz away from the desired ultraweak signal so the phantom becomes a tuning reference; 2) not to use SDR Console for weak signal DX.
