Converter selection for QO-100 not working

#1

Unread post by g4saq »

Hi Simon. Using Win 11 and Console 3.2 on an i5-10 machine with Nvidia GTX 1650 super.
Trying to use my Pluto for Tx/Rx through QO-100.
Radio definitions - highlight Pluto - tick Converter selection and press edit.
In Converter definition page - press +QO-100 - double click on 9750/8089.5 - this populates the title, Rx and Tx boxes.
Then clck on Apply and it all disappears! Same if I miss out Apply and just go through Save. Nothing there when I come bacck.

Sorry if I'm being a numpty but I think I've got it right!

Pleased to, Mike but it was clearly my misunderstanding!
It seems that the selection is supposed to disappear when you click 'Apply'. When you press 'Save' and exit the page, you are returned to the Radio Definitions page. You click Save on that and it closes. You are then back to the Select Radio page. At this point, you click on the SDR you are using (PlutoSDR in my case) and you can then select the converter that you chose earlier, or any other one in the list. Nothing wrong with the software - just with me!!
