3.3 build 2870 - Signal meter randomly falls out

Hi,

Hi, I use SDR Console as panadapter for IF K3+FCD+. Working fine but randomly accidentally stops meter to show a real value. After some time he shows again. This is repeated accidentally.

Yes, that is very strange. Never seen that here, and not seen it reported by other users either. Hopefully Simon will see this and comment.

That MAY be a manifestation of my basic complaint about Simon's method for deriving an S-Meter value. It can be spoofed in very much this manner on FM signals, at least. If that is what's causing it, Simon's not gonna fix it. I've tried to pester him into it repeatedly. The shape of the spectrum is what suggests it MIGHT be related to its spoofability.

This problem is not dependent to modulation. It behaves the same without modulation on the noise background.
