MIDI range for volume does not scale to 100%

Helllo, recently tried out the MIDI functionality which is really nice. Thanks for that. I have found that if I make a slider for volume control that has a range of 0 to 127, the software detects it properly and sets the values in the midi config but the volume is mapped to the raw value, as such that 100% volume appears to be about 3/4 of the way up the slider scale where a value of 100 out of 128 should map to 78%. It would be nice if the volume control scaled to the slider's range. Or maybe I'm misconfiguring the software?
