PTT via Pluto GPO pins

#1

Unread post by M0TGC »

Hi

With the latest AD firmware (0.32) SDRC does not control the GPO pins on TX but with the F5OEO DATV firmware it is ok.

So, two questions:

Is there any reason not to use the F5OEO firmware?

Will SDRC drive the GPO pins on TX in the future on the standard AD firmware, or have I missed a way to configure it?

Thanks

Thanks for this update - I wasn't aware that a new firmware had broken things. Noted, I'll update the code as soon as I have time.

Please give me a link to the firmware.

So,

Maybe the new firmware has broken the library?

Has anyone else reported this?

I see this firmware is ~5 months old?

Are you sure it worked on 0.31?

I was told it did - I think. Please put FW 0.31 on and have a look, I have no way to test this.

Hi Simon

I downloaded the 0.31 firmware from:

https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/plu ... /tag/v0.31

Installed it and checked the version using putty. No PTT via GPIO on TX.

I then re-installed the DATV firmware from F5OEO and confirmed that PTT on TX was still working.

I have a relay daughter board in the Pluto simply switching an led as I am still waiting for the necessary PA's.

So PTT on TX is not working on either 0.31 or 0.32 AD firmwares!

Rgds

Options in the radio panel, just above RIT and XIT.
