Anyway to finish off the posts/thread-
Who would have thought a cheapish dosimeter would or could do such a thing , since that time i have cycled the battery twice just to check all is ok and also since that time for a week or so it hardly went off set at .6uSv and coincidentally the Sun went pretty quite and lately the meter set at 1uSv has not triggered at all , so now its turned off .

Just for interests sake a poor pic of the meter where it sits hanging on the wall off a nail , and i'm not saying these are the best at all as its a budget one and there be heaps of different ones available on the bay some even cheaper and some also that cost a arm and a leg , but a Sun CME meter? lol , cheers all .
