Hi,
What is in your opinion the best setting for IF gain when recording I/Q over a 2Mhz frequency range? Auto or manual ?

Which SDR are you using?

If it's the SDRPlay, then I always use manual in order to keep the gain constant in the event of strong signals coming and going.

I'm using a RSP-2 from SDRPlay. I will try to record with fixed IF gain.
BTW, what is the bandwith which gives the best RX performance, if any ?
