Dear Sirs,
Im using a RTL Stick and Omnirig as Panadapter on my FT-950 an it works very well.
Usulay the computer audio is turend off and I'm working only with the Waterfall BUT sometimes I like to use the Computer Audio special for weaker Signals.
But when im sending I hear myselve over SDRConsole and this is annoing.
I tryed to configure Auto-Mute over the Tool Tab but had no luck with this.
Can anyone help me out ??
thank you

Hi, did you tried to disable TX monitor? (see red circle)

Thank you for answering. Unfortunately the whole Transmit section is grey and not accessible.
I thoght this is for sending with eg. HACKRF or so ?!
How can I get this accessible ?

Sorry Tom, TX cannot be enabled with a RTL stick ofcource. Should have read better, my bad.
I think there's no way to tell SDRC it has to mute when you are transmitting with an external TX but there are hardware solutions like this one:

No Tom that isn't what he needs. That item is to allow you to share the antenna between your transceiver on TX and your SDR on RX.PD3LK wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 6:18 pm Sorry Tom, TX cannot be enabled with a RTL stick ofcource. Should have read better, my bad.

All he needs is a method to mute the PC loudspeaker when transmitting and there is various simple ways of doing this.
A relay controlled by the PTT line of the TXCVR disconnecting the PC speaker/headphones is the easiest to construct. A little more complex is a RF switch to do the same thing.
I'll see if I can find a production solution.

One question are you using the RTL SDR connected to the IF output or to the antenna?

Re: Help with Auto Mute if used as Panadapter needet...
@Leon: Thank you, but I think Martin got it.
@Martin: I think you got it *g*. Yes, I'm using the internal IF for the RTL Stick. I hoped there was a way in the Software to Mute the Audio while sending. So, as you describe, I think I have to grad the RS242 signal with an Arduino and cut the IF input for the Stick While sending. Seems to be not too difficult to do..

Re: Help with Auto Mute if used as Panadapter needet...
I wonder if he has tried "home->options->AutoMute. Check the checkbox and set the muting levels. This only works if the signal when TXing is maybe 10 dB larger than incoming signals as a minimum.

Thank you,
but as you can see in the initial post ... Yes. But it did'nt work as in the Screenshot (wrong Parameters maybe ?).
