Thanks for the software Simon, which I have used daily for many years. I have loaded the SDRPlay 3.08 service in conjunction with SDRUno 1.41 beta and the latest SDRC version 3.1 build 2340, which I believe should run with API 3.08. When I try to select my SDRPlay V3 devices, SDRC tells me there is an API mismatch - looking for 3.06 found 3.08 (see attachment). What am I doing wrong? I can load the devices as V2, but I could do that with the previous SDRC version.

Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
Smells like build 2338 to me - unless I've mucked up the kit. Please don't chop up screenshots, I alaays want to see all you have.
The attached window shows what you should see.

Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
I have the attached the sequence of windows. Essentially, the SDRPlay is found, but then rejected because of the API version mismatch.
Thanks,

Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
Mike,
Too many attachments, some show it working some don't, I am lost. The image I have attached below is good, your RSP1 is found.
Please add titles to the images, you can do this when adding them.
All I want to see is the window shown after you select the SDRPlay v3 when adding a definition - this should be the first window in the sequence. This is the only window of interest.

OK Simon,
Just two clips: 1. SDRPlay V3 found, 2. Device not saved due to service mismatch.

OK,
I don't understand the server version mismatch. What did you click to get this window - looks like the first window.

Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
I'll make another kit with more diagnostics, it's almost as if you're using the old DLL in the new kit.
Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
Hi Simon, yes, something weird is happening, but I don't think it is in your code. I tried on another PC and all worked as expected with API 3.08. The PC where I found the problem has been running SDRC for many years and it seems like there are some ghosts of old versions in the system. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the trouble. I will endeavour to make a clean start with the problem PC.
Thanks again (your dog has received a contribution for supper),
Mike

Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
Just to finish the story, I searched through the files in the SDRC programs folder and found a dll dated 2020, which was a temporary work round for a previous API update. I had renamed it to exclude it, but obviously not well enough as it seemed to be taking precedence over the latest dll. Anyway, the old dll is now deleted and all is well.

Re: SDRPlay API 3.08
My RSPdx only works with SDRplay v.3, in v.2 it is identified as SDRduo. I tried API 3.07 and 3.08. What about that?
