If he switched out libusb for the sdrsharp version he's going to have problems until he puts a 64 bit version in there. But that should not blue screen anything.

Note that if your install does not have the proper libusb with it I'd be very surprised and suspicious of where you got it if that was not www.sdr-radio.com.

Just on a hunch run memtest on it. There may be a bad ram location or locations.

Also make sure your video card has its power plug inserted if it needs such power. That could make it sensitive to GPU load, if it even boots. Run some gamer related benchmarks to stress the GPU and make sure it and the CPU are not flaky.
