Scrolling the Playback Navigator Waterfall

Just installed the latest build 2685 and when I drag down the right bar I can only go about 3/4 of the way down before the time springs back to the start when I let go of the mouse button. I can use the mouse wheel over the waterfall to reach the bottom but when it's a 6 hour long file it's a bit long winded.
