Opened my thoroughly awesome SWM, and oh no! Its doing some kind of weird, vertical line thing again, like I stumbled across a long time back...

Uh, actually, Happy Equinox!!!

For those who missed it, set your clock/date back to Sep 22, and look at the day/night greyline. Man, that doesn't look right...
Only two days of the year like that... and this is one of them!

Nope, its still the awesome World Map doing just what it's supposed to do..

Congrats Simon!! A bug complaint that isn't a bug, for a change!! ;-) Hope you got a giggle out of that...

I thought about that, but it seems the forum only does pics if you send a URL? Let me know if I can put up a jpg or whatever, and I'll make one. I forget if I have a current account with any of the photobucket or similar sites.

You can reproduce it by winding the date and time back, of course. And, that reminded me that one could use changing the dates to observe greyline propagation times and places, as it moves thru the seasons...

Anyway, spent some time on this, have learned a new (to me) Direct2D feature. I think I have finally cracked the problem!

Watch out for a new kit announcement.

Solstice!!! Well, almost.

Its been a whole year... hope yours was good, and thanks to Simon for the updates to the Map.

Check out your greyline, over the next few days, and see the twice a year phenom that made me think it was a bug...
