PLUTO plus RX2 and TX2

#1

Unread post by MM0TWX »

Good day all.

The Pluto Plus comes native with two receivers and two transmitters, each with its dedicated antenna connectors.

SDR Console at the moment sees only one. If I open a new instance of the software and try to use the Pluto, I am told that the device is already in use.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

Pete, I don't believe that Simon has implemented support for the Pluto Plus yet, hence only access to one of the two inputs/outputs. Even if it had been implemented you would not be able open a new instance for the same device. It's one instance per hardware device.

Just in case I am wrong about support for the Plus, it may be worth re-posting this on the IO Groups forum because it's much more heavily viewed than this group (even though in theory this is the "support group"). Simon is on there and is possibly more likely to answer and also tell you if he intends to implement the Plus:

Pete. Also see YouTube video here from TechMinds:

No further update video so I assume it may still be the case that SDR Angel is the software to use for support of both ports.
