I have not been able to get the LimeRFE to work above 100 MHz with SDRConsole. What I have found is the logic levels on U9 (SW6_V2 & SW6_V3) are not correct at 222 MHz. As such it can not receive or transmit on J3 at 222 MHz. SW6_V2 has to be a 1 (which it is not) and SW6_V3 has to be 0 (which it is) for the antenna to be routed to the 1 - 500 Mhz RX. To transmit at 222 MHz through J3, SW6_V2 has to be a 1 and SW6_V3 has to be 1.
Additionally I have not been able to get it to transmit on 2 meters, 432 MHz or 902 MHz. I have not checked whether or not it receives on any of these bands. I decided to start with the 222 MHz.

LimeRFE / VHF Wont Receive or Transmit
Re: LimeRFE / VHF Wont Receive or Transmit
Jim, I don't have a Lime but I guess you checked everything on this page?

Max, Yes along with the LimeRFE page. The LimeSDR by itself is fine. It's the add on LimeRFE board that has the issue. I can get power out of J4 (transmit only) of the LimeRFE, just can not receive or transmit through J3. As it can not recieve through J4 I have to use J3. From what I can tell everyone has been using the LimeRFE at HF, not VHF and above. Jim

Apologies. Did my usual "in a rush" reply and did not read your post through properly.wb8vsu. wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 3:30 pm Max, Yes along with the LimeRFE page. The LimeSDR by itself is fine. I can see from a quick search on the SDRC groups that the RFE has been mentioned and indeed Simon seems to have one but appears to be largely unused so far by him. But at least he will be able to see the issue "for real".

Hopefully he will be along soon to comment and hopefully solve it for you.
