Mis identified FMduo

#1

Unread post by VK7JEM »

Small issue I have with my fmduo tx/rx is that sdr console identifies it as rx only model
As such I have no way to switch antennas.

Also I cant see a way to disable LPF and thus go past 54 MHz

Any ideas team?

I believe that the answer to both of these issues is in this information page?

https://www.sdr-radio.com/elad-transceiver

See in the section headed "Duo". Namely "TX Output" setting and also "Filter" setting.

Also that Elad Menu Item 30 is set "TX Enable" to On.

You've probably searched for the wrong ELAD radio.

HI
Further on this
When I search for fmduo tx rx it says none found, but when i search for rx it reports it.
Nor do I have the "radio" panel that the web page shows

However I have had one thought. Because I am only using it as an RX and I have amplified active antennas on both ant ports, I have turned 30 off so I dont zap the antennas by accident.... Might play with that...

Still learning
yes if i enable option 30 then console registers it as txrx - so thats the answer to that!
also i found the LPF toggle. but it only is present on the pc the elad is connected to.
I use server to myother pcs in different rooms. they dont get that feature. I can live with that

Still cant see that radio panel or antenna switch tho

Have you got the RX DSP enabled? The Radio panel lives in there!
