request for frequency database

Unread post by VK7JEM »

Hi Simon
Firstly huge thanks for SDRConsole. By far the best sdr program

One request I would like is a button on the Frequ database to filter by time. So when its tracking it only shows database entries that are scheduled to be on air now (with option to turn the filter on and off to see all)

thanks team

For this functionality I cannot recommend CSV Userlist Browser highly enough. It partners with SDR Console brilliantly and has huge number of other features because it is a dedicated frequency list program:

https://www.df8ry.de/htmlen/csvub/features.htm

So to be exact, it will track the frequency selected in SDRC then show only the stations that are currently live on that frequency.

Also has full auto-download of all the major lists (EIBI, Aoki etc etc) to keep bang up to date and also shows map of TX location, distance bearing etc.

See in action with SDR Uno (I guess someone has to!) but setup all equally applies to SDR Console:

If you want to use the SDRC database, I guess you could save as CSV, then sort entries by time in a spreadsheet then reload? Not sure. Never done it as CSVUB is dedicated so well to the task.
