Hi all,
I'd like to use a footswitch with my Adalm Pluto on QO100 for tx/rx switching. Is it feasible and if so how?
Thanks and regards,
Roger. (G8VLR)

Hi Roger
Easiest option appears to be wire the footswitch to a serial interface adapter to USB:

See attached PDF from GU6EFB.
Uses cheap FTDI interface:

Oh blimey...... me again. Not that interface because you need the one with the solder holes down the sides. There are loads on eBay. Not genuine FTDI this time but I doubt it matters for this purpose. Looks like Keith used this one:

Re: TX/RX footswitch
NP Roger. Be interested to now if you do purchase one of those "clone" boards from eBay if it installs OK on Windows. I assume it does or they would not have sold so many!
