Tx frequency in CW
Tx frequency in CW
In the bandscope in CW, within the filter bandwidth , the CW peck or, as in thetis , the tx frequency , depending on the sidetone that operator chooses .tnx
Re: Tx frequency in CW
If you have rig that supports TX sidetone in SDR Console (Hermes Lite 2 for example) the TX sidetone frequency on TX has no effect at all on the received note. Works totally independently.
To get them exactly the same you need to set sidetone frequency and centre frequency of the CW RX filter to be exactly the same. Then you will get perfect identical transceive notes at your preferred pitch.
Easier to see in the pictures I have attached. Hope it makes sense? What is your SDR transceiver?
