Frequency change with CAT+spyserver sometimes remains mute after tuning

Hello, I'm using SDR console and I'm controlling it via CAT. My receiver is an airspy hf+, connected via spy server.
When I set a new frequency via CAT, outside the currently visualised spectrum, sometimes the receiver becomes mute. As soon as I send another frequency (even just 1hz higher) after >= 300ms, the receiver starts receiving again. This happens with about 20% probability.
I can work around this by sending the frequency, then wait 300ms, then send the frequency+1hz. But it would be wonderful if SDR Console could be fixed to re-tune properly when using spyserver.
Is this feasible?
