Working With Memories Question, Please

#1

Unread post by G4ELI »

Hello,

Incredible program.
Thanks so much for making it available.
Can't begin to imagine all the work that has gone into it.

Will blame my ignorance on old age now.
A great excuse for most anything.

But, please bear with me a bit.
Haven't done this in a very long while.

I have an Icom R8600

I purchased an Icom software package that allows me to create
memory groups fairly easily, and then to load them all into the icom's memories.
Works well.

In Console's Memories, is there any way to import all these memories, somehow
into the program ?

Will really be tough if I have to enter them individually.
What's the best way of handling this "problem", please ?

And, is there a Scanning function ?
I looked, but don't see one.
If not, contemplated ?

Best regards,
Bob

Bob, this is a copy of my reply in the IO Group you posted in:

From my understanding, I don't believe there is any way to import data from another source into the SDR Console Memories. There is also currently no scanning option built in to SDRC.

I believe that Simon has considered adding a scanner but he's tied up with another project at the moment so I doubt he will be making any additions to SDRC for several months at the very least.

Hope it helps.
