Hi All, I use SDR Console and SDR plays duo's (by 3). I also use Icom RSBA-1 software to remotely access my IC-7300.
As my ISP uses GCNAT (all my connections are 5G) I created a VLAN using Tailscale to provide me easy access to my remote radio. Tailscale creates a VLAN which I access via the internet. The system works very well, no static IP addresses (other than Tailscale provided) and no punching holes in your router to allow port access. I can get the 'Streamer function - limited control' to work over my VLAN remotely enabling me to access my sdr play IQ over the internet from remote locations (like at work). My question there is not a lot of information regarding LAN connection and setup for SDR that I can find, so if someone has a LAN connection without using the V3 server (just the connected pc as the server) I would be very interested how they achieved this. FWIW I have a number of friends who have remoted radios (Icoms) who can only use a mobile hotspot at the remote location, and use Tailscale (VLAN) in the way I have described above. I would love to add a SDR play to my remote station and use SDR console.
