In the options (...) dialogue, it would be nice to have mode button reordering.

Given the minimum DSP width, mode buttons could fit into 4 columns. Another user option?

Agree on both counts. There's currently spare room for the fourth column of buttons and same for the filter buttons.

On the re-ordering, just make the dialogue window called up by the "three dots" exactly mimic that of the filter buttons as it is now.

Might also be nice to add a user option to select the number of visible rows too in both the mode and filter panels?

You can rearrange them painfully. Maybe you can delete them all, except the ... button and the first one you want to appear next to the ... button. Then add buttons back so they will appear in the order selected.
