Yes. Still not a hint of overload anywhere. On a par with the HF+ in that respect. It's far better than the Perseus/FM+ combination - the latter is just as sensitive, but overloads relatively easily.
Would think once the downconverter addon becomes available, S3 from a price v performance / software pov should blow Winradio out of the water.

I'm not aware of any dates for the downconverter - don't know what I could use one for other than DAB+.G0OFE wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:42 am Yes. Still not a hint of overload anywhere. Anyone remember the Realistic DX-302? 0-30Mhz rx with digital readout. £260 in 1980, equivalent to £1,123 now.
S3 still cheaper!

Sorry to bump in, but how about VHF Airband and/or UHF Milair scanning and/or analysing? That scanning thing with a proper scanner of course....
Best regards,

Well, I must write a 'proper' scanner next year with full logging. I have no plans to just write a toy scanner.

Great! I know it is on your list, but also that the list is long. No problem.

Jim,
Glad you got the recording to a normal HDD, I've never had an issue here either, yes SSD is better, but my SATA drive has worked just fine, I have one user that has had issues, but that was caused by laptop being used in a hot car and laptop performance was degraded....

Paul,
What bit size does the Elad software use to make recordings?
Console uses 16 bit by default, 32 bit can be selected. I know HDSDR uses 32 bit. Not yet tried 32 bit on Console with 24Mhz recording, but I think I know what the result will be......
