Hi,
Since few days I have the S3 here. Now I have install following Bandpass and Highpass Filters. See below.
I have configure the Filters in both Software exactly the same, but the result is not the same.
Console V3 Filter config
SW2 Filter config
If I have as example 24MHz bandwidth and tune with the SW2 above 1700KHz the Higpass is active and cut the range below 1700KHz.
If I tune below 1700KHz the Highpass is deactivated.
With the Console V3 I cannot see that the Highpass is active if the tuned Frequency is above 1700KHz.
What I make wrong?
Thanks.
Regards
Fernando

Re: ELAD FDM-S3 Bandpass Filter Configuration with V3
Hi,
I'll check this - it's a bug I think, I'm not switching correctly.

Ok. Thanks.Simon G4ELI wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 12:09 pm Hi,

Sometimes the Highpass Filter is on or switch if tune above 1700KHz. This I can bring on if I switch off/on the Radio. Unfortunately, I cannot describe a defined path. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That seems to be related to the display / radio settings.
Can you explain me with other words for what are this function?
Re: ELAD FDM-S3 Bandpass Filter Configuration with V3
Hi, Was this issue resolved? I have a similar problem. I have just added some filters to my S3 and whilst it works ok in the SW2 software it doesn't in V3. I'm sure it's my error!
By my reckoning I should be seeing the frequencies below 500khz being attenuated in the following screenshot:
These are the filter setting I have applied: Thanks and regards,
Danny.

Re: ELAD FDM-S3 Bandpass Filter Configuration with V3
My logic is to only enable a filter when either the radio or display bandwidth is inside the filter range. IMO enabling the 1Hz to 500kHz filter while displaying a wider range doesn't make sense, but I can always add this.

Thanks Simon. I'd opened out the display bandwidth to illustrate what I thought was incorrect behaviour but I understand your logic now.
