It's all about the Software

Hi,

I recently acquired a FDM-S3 and plan to use SDR Console with it, as that is what I use with my FDM-S2 ( which will now likely be for sale ). Anyway, the S3 runs OK with the native ELAD SW, but when I try to use COnsole it does not see the S3 in the drop down list of attached radios. I tried doing a Search for S3 in the Select Radio -> Definitions -> Search drop-down but the S3 does not show up. I've attached the log file generated, and a screen shot. Any ideas on what may be going on ?

Are you sure you searched for the S3? The logfile shows you searching for the S1/S2.

After downloading the Elad SW from their web site and installing that ( instead of the install software that was on the USB stick supplied with the radio ), I was able to find the S3 immediately and get it running.
