Um, no. Information I can find suggests it cannot function as an SDR front end.

If you mean remote control from SDRC - talk to the OmniRig people.

Not at the moment. FWIW there are superb low-cost HF transceivers appearing in 2021, HF / VHF / UHF / SHF...

Hey Simon!

A couple of hams in my club recently got the G90. A friend even managed to get it to run with SDR Console using an old version of Omnirig but the frequency doesn't synchronise properly (it's off).

Can we support you in any way to make this happen?

I have Sdr console working with a G90 you need the ic7100 protocol set In omnirig or the 756pro protocol I use the 1k xtal setting in the definition to read the iq stream

There is a G90 ini file for Omnirig v2 that will work in Omnirig 1.20. Also, SDRConsole works with Omirig v2 - probably only for two rigs, but I have not tried more than one. The real problem though is Omnirig rigs seem to only be "external radios", i.e. radios that only track the operating frequencies of another radio for which SDRConsole has a driver. In other words, external radios are only meant to be (and work as) pan adapter displays.

I am a SDRConsole newbie though, so could be wrong about whether an external radio can be operated like a regular one.

I will add that Omnirig will work with HPSDR "main" radios and the G90 ini works for the X6100 (which I have). I just have not gotten a tx setup going yet and rx is not as full featured as SDRConsole.
